The Rt. Rev. Brian Cole, Presiding

The regular pastoral visitation of all parishes and worshiping communities of the diocese is among the principal responsibilities of the bishop’s ministry. It is also one of the great delights of the episcopal office. This is called the Bishop’s Customary for Pastoral Visitations.
Confirmations, receptions, and reaffirmations take place during visitations, although, these rites are not the principal reasons for the bishop’s pastoral visit. The Undesignated Offering on the day of the visitation will be set aside for the Bishop’s Discretionary Fund. During the visitation the bishop intends to set aside the full day completely for the parish being visited.
If you showed up last Sunday (1/29) we had a great time baptizing, confirming, and receiving folks. There were bells, drums, dancing, and all kinds of joy. You can also check it out on our YouTube channel if you missed it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvHKsvVKsj0
