ENGAGEMENT BY THE NUMBERS - In 2019, St. James held its inaugural Neighbor Day Celebration. The event featured a musical concert in the nave,  a silent in-person auction, and a lively dinner finale in the Parish Hall. Forced to abandon the concert and the dinner  components one year later due to the emerging pandemic, we forged ahead with our COVID-safe online auction and  an entertaining 3-hour finale on Zoom. In 2021, our celebration featured a socially distanced neighborhood concert in  the park(ing lot), an expanded online auction, and an amusing 2-hour finale simulcast on YouTube and Community  Television of Knoxville. To date, Neighbor Day Celebrations have raised a combined total of more than $58,000 to  support our ministries of service outreach.
