Fellowship in the body of Christ is certainly no side issue. It is one of the four things the early church and today’s church devoted itself to. It is a means of support and encouragement to others and of ministry in the Savior’s enterprise on earth.
Four words represent fellowship, relationship, partnership, companionship, and stewardship describe the general emphasis the New Testament’s concept of fellowship.
At least part of the answer comes through obedience to the many ‘one another’ commands of the New Testament. Over and over again, we are exhorted in various ways to be involved with and caring for one another.
