Episcopal Church Women (ECW)
If you are a woman, you are a member of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW). Our mission/ministry has always been service and fellowship. We have always contributed financially and or with woman power to any need our church has.
To be more specific we:
- Always contribute to Camp Billy Johnson and Camp Gailor-Maxon, diocesan ECW missions:
- Contributed to several missions in Haiti;
- Support the UTO, a responsibility arising from the ECW;
- Always support the diocesan ECW with a monetary commitment;
- Completely refurnished the Hopper Room several years ago;
- Supported Mattie Campen who started the Cottage Shop
- In the past, have used money raised for a specific purpose to pay for immediate debts of our church;
- Have had a lot of fun.
The ECW generally meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month, with brunch served. Come join us and discover what you can do to serve.
